
Josie is an architect with over twenty years of experience who views inspiring architecture as not only the result of great design but also successful collaboration. At Fender Katsalidis, her focus on cultivating key relationships has resulted in improved outcomes and satisfaction among clients, builders and team members.
Working on a number of projects with the practice including Sapphire by the Gardens, 649 Chapel Street and 600 Lonsdale Street has led to Josie taking on a much a larger role with Central Place Sydney. As one of the project leads, she handles Integrated Distribution Facility (IDF) at concept design and development application stages, as well coordination with clients, consultants, stakeholders, architects and developers of the surrounding wider development.
Prior to joining FK, Josie spent ten years in project architect roles at different practices across Perth, obtaining experience on large-scale residential precincts. She also holds a master’s degree in architecture graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2003.
Today, she applies her expertise in delivery, team development and consultant coordination to schematic, marketing, design development and tender packages to typologies that include large scale residential, commercial, education and health. In addition to this, Josie provides experience in construction phase services for novated and traditional building contracts and contract administration.
