Mohd is a highly self-motivated and goal-oriented professional whose extensive experience covers all project stages, and all building types.
Committed to maintaining the highest design standards through innovative detailing, construction methodology and delivery process, he has worked on numerous major, award-winning projects in Australia and overseas.
Experienced in small and large practice, Mohd developed significant expertise in the management of complex, large-scale community and institutional projects. This set him apart from contemporaries and led to him working throughout Southeast Asia on typologies ranging from sports stadia to super tall towers.
Noted for his critical thinking, problem solving and CAD and BIM proficiency, Mohd believes patience and perseverance are fundamental to successful architectural outcomes; a philosophy he has lived and shared while teaching architecture at both RMIT and The University of Melbourne.
Joining Fender Katsalidis in 2017, he now leads a number of the firm’s major projects, including Queens Place, Sapphire by the Gardens and the new Melbourne Airport hotel development.
While excelling in delivery, stakeholder relations and the management of large teams, Mohd remains a humble all-round practitioner at heart; willing and able to sketch, draw, render, and finesse the micro scale details when time permits.
