Working for MAB Corporation, Fender Katsalidis formed a joint venture with SJB Architects to undertake the architectural aspects of the New Quay Precinct at the Melbourne Docklands.

Since the success of this open bid, the joint venture has created the masterplan for the whole Precinct, and undertaken all design stages including marketing input for the Arkley, Palladio, Boyd, Sant’ Elia, Nolan & the Conder and the waterfront retail.
The complex comprises of 792 apartments and displays a unique integration of art and architecture.Each stage of the New Quay Precinct was sold out within days.
The project was honoured with the Australian Institute of Architects Victoria Commercial Award.
