Designers

Behind every Australia 108, MONA and Merdeka 118 is a designer like you

We’re looking for talented and creative individuals to join our team of design professionals.

Built environments should do more than shape the landscape; they should shape our society. Through their presence and contributions, every building we create must in some way be a force for positive change.

Founded on the philosophy of innovation through collaboration, our practice has evolved from a Melbourne-centric architectural practice, to a highly awarded, multi-disciplinary international design firm.

With studios in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, our work influences built environment thinking across the globe.

We’re looking for designers to join our team who are as passionate about the built environment as they are teamwork and collaboration. You should have the creativity and design nous to shape and innovative, as well as the drive to contribute to our studio culture.

To apply, submit your cv & portfolio via careers@fkaustralia.com. Please note you must have the right to work in Australia to apply.

Human Resources Manager

FK is seeking a talented Human Resources Manager to join our Sydney team.

We are an award-winning architecture and interior design firm with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane delivering landmark developments across Australia and in Asia. We’ve designed one of the tallest, most recognisable pair of buildings, the second-tallest skyscraper in the world, and the largest private museum in the southern hemisphere, among others.

Structures aside, we’re equally proud of the culture we’ve built here at FK. Which is why we aim to hire people who share the same passion for design and the built environment as they do for teamwork and collaboration.

Our successful candidate, as Human Resources Manager, will be responsible for creating a culturally positive and efficiently functioning workplace environment. This role involves designing and implementing the best approaches for taking care of our people, while actively managing the engagement, induction, and retention of a team of professional architects, interior designers, management, and support staff across our three studios in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

This exciting career opportunity is a permanent role within a creative and busy studio offering plenty of scope for learning and achievement for passionate people.

Applicants should be suitably qualified, with a minimum of tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, and proven experience in a relevant role within the architecture profession or design industry.

We look forward to receiving your resume and cover letter via careers@fkaustralia.com. Please note you must have the right to work in Australia to apply.

In the meantime, we encourage you to check out more of our work on our website www.fkaustralia.com

Students

We are regularly intaking driven and passionate students at the middle and end of each year. We encourage you to apply at any time to be considered for one of our student intakes.

We are looking for students ready to jump into whichever role is required in the studio. A student of architecture is someone still studying either their Bachelor or Master of Architecture, while a student of interior design will be studying a formal interior design qualification. At FK, we don’t expect our students to know everything but are willing to learn and grow. We want students with a great attitude, a good design eye, and a passion for the built environment.
