As an Architect at FK, you’ll engage with project teams throughout all phases, bringing expertise in large-scale projects and proficiency in Revit to prepare architectural documentation. Strong financial management, commercial awareness, and consultant coordination experience are essential, along with effective problem-solving and negotiation skills to support project success.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with project teams at all levels, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Develop knowledge of project deliverables, quality standards, and timelines.
- Prepare and refine sketches, plans, working drawings, sections, elevations, and specifications.
- Work with a range of industry software, including Revit, ArchiCAD (training provided), Photoshop, Artlantis, Cinema 4D, InDesign, and Lumion.

Our Sydney, and Brisbane studio are expanding, and we’re on the lookout for talented and experienced Interior Designers to join our team. What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside Senior Interior Designers and Architects to shape inspiring interior spaces.
- Develop spatial planning, test fits, and schematic design schemes that bring ideas to life.
- Create compelling design development presentations and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications throughout all project phases.

About You:
- 3+ years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

- Experience in Residential or Hospitality projects is highly regarded.

About the Role
As our BIM Manager, you will be at the forefront of advancing our digital design capabilities. Your mission will be to enhance the interoperability of BIM within the business, ensuring that our teams have the tools, knowledge, and support to deliver outstanding architectural solutions. With a long-term vision of positioning FK as an industry leader in BIM and Revit, you’ll play a crucial role in upskilling our teams, standardising workflows, and optimising efficiency across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, mentoring, and training in Revit across the team.
- Develop and implement a framework to enhance BIM adoption and interoperability.
- Lead the continuous improvement of FK’s BIM delivery, ensuring seamless integration with software and hardware platforms.
- Establish and enforce high-quality drawing and documentation standards.
- Optimise design processes and deliverables through enhanced BIM workflows.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of software templates to uphold BIM standards.
- Manage, maintain, and enhance FK’s Revit Library, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks associated with BIM models, escalating when necessary.
- Support the transition of ArchiCAD-documented projects into BIM workflows.
- Monitor and oversee all Revit projects, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.

- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Experience using clash detection software.

A student of architecture is someone still studying either their Bachelor or Master of Architecture, while a student of interior design will be studying a formal interior design qualification. At FK, we don’t expect our students to know everything but are willing to learn and grow. We want students with a great attitude, a good design eye, and a passion for the built environment.
