The binary experience between rest and play, inspired by the clientele and locality of the hotel, has informed the interior design of the exclusive spaces.
With no room quite the same, each suite has been refurbished to various extents, allowing the interior design of every room a degree of personalisation. FK was also commissioned to design an array of complementary bespoke furniture items, such as couches and joinery pieces, to ensure the volume of spaces formed a cohesive and boutique design language.
Every suite has been carefully curated with key selections of artwork and custom styling pieces, creating visual experiences and moments of interest. The hotel’s signature red branding is diffused through a spectrum of hues, including wine and rust coloured carpets and furnishing throughout levels 15 and 16. The rhythm and energy of the entertainment area below the hotel is referenced through highly saturated colours, while bold uses of materiality and statement sculptural pieces define the common spaces, hallways and thresholds.
Moving through the bedrooms and bathrooms, the palette is toned down and restrained, creating a contrasting experience and providing guests with muted and peaceful spaces. The rooms include full-height upholstered bedheads and carpets in soft hues of blue, accented with neutral-coloured furnishings, wall treatments and window treatments.
