The Grace Albert Park Lake Display Suite

The Grace Albert Park Lake Display Suite

Photographer: Tatjana Plitt

The Grace Display Suite was designed as two separate spaces divided across two levels, that offered clients and visitors a gallery experience at the lower entry level, and an immersive apartment experience on the floor above. The spaces were conceived as a progressive journey between one another and featured a fully realised and detailed apartment corridor that linked the two areas. This journey was designed to offer purchasers an insight not only into their individual home spaces, but the quality of spaces that were accessible immediately from their apartment.

The ground floor gallery and sales space was designed with form and material expression at the forefront of its concept, becoming a place where marketing material and imagery could be expressed and displayed against a finely detailed backdrop. The material selections and forms in the ground floor gallery were designed as an expression and reference to the common areas within the main project, to create a sense of intrigue as to what more was to come.

While it was important that key elements within the main project were explored and reflected in the display suite (such as quality of light, use of fine materials and carefully considered detailing), it was also imperative that overarching design principles were captured and inherent within the spaces.

The opportunity for togetherness and connection to others was realised by means of dedicated and connected lounge and meeting spaces, while the display suite’s physical location within the client’s main lobby allowed for visual fluidity between these two distinct and differing realms.
