Melbourne Quarter West Tower
Located opposite Southern Cross Station between Flinders and Collins Streets, Melbourne Quarter is the culmination of more than a decade of city-shaping investment, bringing together residential, commercial, retail and public realm uses within a vibrant, connected neighbourhood. As the precinct’s final building, West Tower completes the residential pairing established by East Tower while introducing a new generation of amenity-led rental living.
FK’s design places community and resident wellbeing at the centre of the living experience, with an extensive network of shared spaces supporting work, recreation, wellness and social connection. Amenity is distributed throughout the tower to create a seamless extension of the home, encouraging residents to move effortlessly between places to work, exercise, relax and gather.
The project delivers a comprehensive suite of contemporary resident facilities including co-working hubs, fitness and wellness spaces, entertainment areas and rooftop terraces. Shared amenities such as private dining rooms, cinema facilities, bowling and social spaces foster interaction and create a highly serviced residential environment that supports both convenience and community.
Designed to support long-term liveability, West Tower demonstrates how high-density housing can deliver a rich residential experience through generous communal space, diverse amenity and strong connections to public transport, employment and public realm. The project establishes a new benchmark for build-to-rent living in Australia, contributing to the ongoing evolution of Melbourne Quarter as a thriving mixed-use destination.
