Robert’s role as information technology manager at Fender Katsalidis is both highly strategic and supportive. Driving all things IT-related within the practice, he guides the digital transformation of the national network by finding the technologies, partnerships and strategies that work best for the business.

A significant part of Robert’s day-to-day is communication at both an internal and external level; articulating often high-level and in-depth tech solutions based on individuals’ ability or understanding. This consultative interaction enables him to streamline workflows through improved technology stacks and infrastructure projects that are more efficient and less costly, while having greater capacity.

A tinkerer and early adopter, Rob’s intuitive understanding of hardware and applications stems from his earliest memories of always being around a computer and deconstructing components to see how they work and fit together. Today, he uses his knowledge and industry relationships to identify aspects to improve upon, spearheading change and implementing the latest works at a business enterprise level.

Robert’s openness to learning and pursuit of new technology helps take the guesswork out for his peers. Simplifying the complexity of IT to enable others to do their job more easily is just part of his tech wizardry.
