Sam has a multidisciplinary background with experience across the living sector, including multi-residential, mixed-use, build-to-rent and student accommodation, as well as hotel and hospitality projects. This breadth of experience informs a design approach that balances clarity of concept with materiality, detail and rigorous technical resolution.
He has contributed to a diverse range of projects, from large-scale residential and mixed-use developments to hospitality and masterplanning. He played a key role in the repositioning of the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney, working across architecture and interiors from early concept and planning through to documentation and delivery.
With an ability to move fluidly between architecture and interior detail, Sam brings calm, clarity and consistency to complex projects. He is particularly interested in the relationship between architecture, context and the ways people live, creating considered and enduring spaces that balance strong design ideas with the practical realities of use, construction and delivery.
