The 1,800sqm arrangement of coworking spaces consists of one level of public bookable workspace for short-to-medium-term use and a second level of private long-term tenancies and meeting rooms.

The open plan floorplate caters to different modes of working by offering fixed-desk workstations as well as soft work points. Varying floor levels including a raised platform around the perimeter and sunken central space create diverse options for working. Meeting rooms, boardrooms and longerterm leasing tenancies of varying sizes are also catered for. These varied work points offer users a level of choice, as well as giving the operator a broader range of options to market and lease.

The various work modes and their locations make use of the aerofoil form by tucking breakout spaces against glazing and into the facade’s curves, while the collaborative and desk-based working is positioned in larger, open plan areas central to the floorplate.

With the coworking space located alongside an Accor hotel, the concept cultivates a premium hotel experience. The design response and aesthetic language take cues from luxury hotel and hospitality thinking around service, amenity, and flexibility.

The use of natural materials such as timber, stone and leathers help to craft a richly layered space that is relaxed, comfortable, engaging – and like no other space within the Melbourne Airport..
