East Central Tower
East Central Tower is an exciting new development located in the heart of Box Hill, Melbourne.
An elevated address overlooking a busy urban centre, the architecture is a symbolic reference of the neighbourhood’s heritage; its tree-lined avenues and the orchards of its past.
The tower is articulated by a series of slender ribs, thinning as they spread up from the base. Beneath, the 6-level podium is a lively presence, connecting to the streetscape with a series of premium retail and commercial spaces. Its carefully crafted form anchors the design while dramatically separating the podium from the 24-storey residential tower above, containing 280 apartments.
Echoing the tree-lined ridges prevalent across the local landscape, the top of the podium features an external garden the social and wellbeing amenities for residents including lounge, pool, yoga studio, gym, theatre and dining.
