The design of the building responds successfully to tight planning constraints and manages to maintain view corridors for existing neighbours. The sculptured towered element references the maritime nature of the locale, as does the rich palette of materials, which includes hardwood timbers, copper, stone and integrally coloured concrete.
This project received the Residential Architecture Award for Multiple Housing in 2010 from the Australian Institute of Architects, Victorian Chapter.
