Karen brings a wealth of international and sector expertise to the practice, with extensive experience across hotels, restaurants, residential developments and corporate fitouts. Prior to joining FK, she spent time immersed in the emerging build-to-rent sector in the UK, alongside overseeing the design of an innovative workplace campus in Switzerland.

This breadth of experience allows Karen to think laterally and move seamlessly across project typologies. Her multifaceted skillset is well suited to projects of varying scale and complexity, delivering spaces that are functional, beautiful and genuinely enjoyable to inhabit.

For Karen, interiors are ultimately about experience – how spaces make people feel and how they are lived in over time. A strong appreciation for storytelling underpins her work, helping to create meaningful, expressive environments while guiding clients clearly through the design process and maintaining alignment with the original vision.
