The aged care facility at Buderim is viewed as a two storey building from Burnett Street and an additional lower ground level is added on the west end of the building making it a three storey building from the western site boundary.
The main entry is located at the centre of the building, creating a focal point at the central wing.
The aged care facility will accommodate 140 beds, with the majority of the bedrooms and the courtyards oriented to take advantage of the warming winter sunlight with substantial roof overhang and window shading to protect from glare in summer months.
Service and maintenance areas are located away from local residences and contained in a screened area at the lower ground level west of the site to maintain physical and visual privacy
