The building consists of 89 apartments and townhouses, two basement carparks and a retail tenancy on the Esplanade which connects to the adjacent Esplanade Hotel. The simplicity of the facade works to not only frame the neighbouring Hotel, but also acts to unify the various apartment planning configurations. The resultant building forms a sculptural addition to the St Kilda foreshore.

London based Claudio Silvestrin and Hecker Phelan Guthrie collaborated with Fender Katsalidis on the interiors.

Melbourne’s acceptance of the development was shown by the building being awarded the 2007 City of Port Phillip Design Development Award – Best New Development.
