This 11-storey mixed-use building will feature 212 hotel keys, high-end commercial office space, a rooftop pool and bar, and restaurants on the ground floor. This includes a restored Gus’ Place café – the iconic local alfresco eatery.

Its location at 70 Bunda Street plays a vital role in the reinvigoration of Garema Place, and features a paved outdoor area that offers various shopping and dining options. The building’s contemporary design responds to the geometry of the site by featuring three complementary frontages with vertical detail and a subtle curved façade. It is shaped to cascade south away from Garema Place to allow sunlight into the plaza.

Activation will be enabled by pedestrian access from multiple angles via Garema Place and Bunda Street. A ballroom, as well as rooftop pool and bar will be open to the public and offer much desired entertainment options to the city centre.

Construction on the project is due to commence in late 2020 and is scheduled for completion in 2022.
