As an Associate at FK, Jack is able to seamlessly articulate design thinking through a range of advanced architectural tools and effectively iterate those visions with clients and team members.
Starting with the practice while studying at the University of Melbourne, Jack transitioned into a full-time role with FK prior to completing his Master of Architecture. The guidance received by project leadership has enabled Jack to be able to put together rendering packages with speed and efficiency and provide precise and detailed documentation.
Jack’s technology-driven approach often results in improved methods and refined workflows using software systems such as ArchiCAD, Lumion and TwinMotion, occasionally supplemented with Adobe Suite. Time spent intermittently on projects already underway has allowed Jack to lend his skillset to developments on a needs basis. This includes precinct planning for the Wilkinsons Point Precinct, town planning for Waterfront Place and 493 Saint Kilda Road Masterplan, and construction documentation for Parque and Saint Moritz, his most encompassing project. His latest project work has moved more into the early phases.
Jack’s view of architecture as a creative endeavour with highly prescriptive elements has him constantly pushing the boundaries of what can be done by seeking out new and inventive solutions.
