Justin is an architect who enjoys the details of construction as much as the holistic side of the design process. For Justin, the key ingredients to a highly successful project start with good spatial planning, creating flexible spaces, choosing the right materiality and responding to local context and climate through passive sustainability outcomes.

He has a passion for large-scale projects, and a desire to understand the way architecture could improve upon the psychology of the individual as well as the collective built environment. While working full-time, Justin earned his architectural degree from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) which expanded his role and led to a subsequent Master of Architecture degree.

For the past five years Justin has worked with key stakeholders as lead or co-lead on projects from concept through to completion. At the start of 2021, he joined Fender Katsalidis to support front-end design including throughout the concept phase, development application and client liaison. Within the Brisbane studio, he is once again working alongside director Megan Rodgers who he worked with previously on a range of projects across multi-res, commercial, aviation, education and public building.

Justin believes in innovation through collaboration and is driven to understand each client’s goals and objectives in order to deliver architecture that improves upon their lifestyle and brand.
